Martin & Linda Bird look forward to welcoming you to The Harbour Restaurant in Broadford, Isle of Skye. Dine with a view of Broadford Bay, watch the birds and be amazed by our wonderful sunsets.
The restaurant was built about 100 years ago and previously housed the Co-operative shop. We run the restaurant on a comfortable bistro-type basis so you won’t feel out of place whether you’ve just returned from a mountain climb or are out for a special occasion.
Using the best of local ingredients, we serve delicious home-cooked food with a flair and offer a specially selected wine list that reflects Martin’s interest and years of practical research in spotting delectable drinks that are easy on the pocket.
Fairtrade is important to us. Our tea, coffee and sugar is all Fairtrade and wherever possible we use Fairtrade ingredients in our cooking.
We specialise in vegetarian and vegan food, having experimented on our own family for a number of years – and welcome enquiries in advance so we can suit customer’s particular dietary needs.
Families are welcome – its never too soon for young gourmets to hone their taste buds and enjoy a fine dining experience!
Our friendly, helpful team are on hand to offer not only advice on food and drinks, but where to visit on this beautiful island, especially if you are short of time.
